SNOW EVENTS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Sierra Nevada goes beyond impressive ski slopes and snowboarding championships. After a record number of visitors last season, with more than 1.1 million users and the biggest investment in its modern history made just a few months ago, Sierra Nevada is expanding its offer to reach a public of all ages. Events and attractions for the entire family are some of the new features this season.
"This year, the resorts have made a major investment effort, over 67 million euros, to modernise the facilities and adapt them to the new times," Jesús Ibáñez, president of the Spanish ski and mountain resort association ATUDEM.
Activities for skiers
· Skiline: Collect all the data from your day's skiing. A height diagram will give you the details of the kilometers of piste you have covered, it will show how your trips on the lifts have been and the vertical meters traveled, and your pass will serve as the trigger for a special panoramic camera that will immortalize the moment in one of the most special spots in the ski resort.
· Snowpark: The Sulayr super park is a center that will delight freestyle skiers and snowboarders. Modules of rails and vertiginous jumps will test the skills of fans of these modalities. Activities are always supervised by a team of specialists who guarantee safety at all times.
Activities for no skiers
· Mirlo Blanco: An area dedicated to family fun. Adults and children can enjoy roller coasters, slides, and a magic carpet at an altitude of 2,100 meters.
· Russian Sled: A roller coaster at a height of 1,000 meters. Glide over the snow at full speed through impossible curves and speed bumps that will delight adventure lovers.
